If you’ve been following the news, there are thousands in Indonesia in need of basic supplies, food and water following the earthquakes that tore apart the coastal city of Padang. One relief group, Stop Hunger Now, is partnering with their in-country partner Change-A-Nation to help provide this support. The college that I work at has hosted SHN programs recently, and the group is very effective at using volunteer effort to provide meals (that work out to just 25 cents apiece to purchase and package) with a full nutritive spectrum to those in need. $10 would provide funding for as many as 40 meals.
