The economy has now gotten personal. My book buying budget has become desperately low. I have been rediscovering libraries. Unfortunately most of the stuff I find interesting takes me more than a couple of weeks to get through. I have been looking for stuff related to the late Q’ing Dynasty. I am especially interested in the conflicts, social movements, and politics from about 1850 to 1920 as they bore on trade though out Asia. Imagine my joy when I remembered that this internet thingy has on-line books.
